Understanding Fear

Updated: Aug 22, 2019

Fear comes to take your dreams and aspirations from you. It is a major tool the enemy uses to stagnate the life of a believer and results them in not producing the proper fruit. Fear by definition is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat. Fear is used to trigger your emotions to take an alternative route that drives you away from your destiny. I am reminded when I’m trying to get to a location that I have never been to or am not familiar with I rely at times completely on the GPS on my phone to get me there in some aspects this is us as believers at time. We believe in the voice of a stranger or someone that makes us comfortable where we are because it requires no stretching and not being uncomfortable in our flesh. Galatians 5:16-17 says “Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Fear will paralyze you, taking your voice and have you living like the walking dead. Fear can make you sick because it’s a tormenting spirit. It triggers memory recall, the decisions of your past that has cost you things. If you makes you questions your current situation which makes your produce gmo food that looks healthy but no real affect in the spirit. Fear if untreated can cause a physical result because if triggers the emotions in your body. I have seen and personally experience medical conditions to sprout about because of fear. It can be umbrella as stress, cancers sometimes because the facts are that we were not created or build to live in fear. We were created in love. Fear is not the will of the Father for your life 1 John 4:18 tells us “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” God sent His Holy Spirit to help and direct us through our processes (valleys) in life (John 14:26-27). You can overcome fear get in your word more. There are scriptures pertaining to your situation ready them consistently until you get them in your spirit so when the enemy speaks to you as he did Jesus you can fight him back with the world. This battle is not flesh and blood. Utilize the fruits of the spirit to find spiritual maturity and comfort (Galatians 5:22-23). God has given you all the tools you need to win. You can do it I believe in you. We will win together. Always remember God has no given you the spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Love ya always, I am Just Erica
